Last year's footage from Independence Day march in Warsaw looked impressive - a sea of moving flags, red smoke and burning flares, people singing one tune. A fleeting thought... next year I must photograph this. The built up of social events this year made the march even more attractive. It was a personal project but it seems we are living times when other personal projects should come second. 11 November / Warsaw 2021
